  Here is a viable solution that I discovered on the internet. The manufacturer is Rokelb and they call their product DryFlekt Molded Kick-Out Diverters.
This product is "molded from Industry-approved polypropylene copolymers. Durable 'no break ' formula with state- of-the-art UV and heat stabilizers added." This means that there is a no-goof factor in this product. Instead of having to be skilled and bending metal stock, the DryFlekt is easily installed as evidenced by the spec drawing to the right.
